There really isn’t any sort of situation where I could classify myself as shy. The slip of a girly-boy that I am, the eccentric spirited sort that craves attention and love like a serial killer craves squeezing the life from a broken body to echo their own broken tumultuous climax...I’m never shy. My life can be defined by exasperation and utter stupidity. Who can blame me for being blind and self-absorbed when there’s not a one person I can think of that is better than me? We’re all the worse for wear on this quaint ball of mud, whether it’s for the drugs or violence.

Metal. It was the taste of metal. Polishing, polishing, polishing. Taking it apart, putting it together. Testing the silencer. Taking aim. A shot. Wasting a bullet for the sake of making absolute sure that the thing still worked. Waste a bullet, save your life.
It was the taste of metal. Everything tasted like metal these days. The food, the water, the air. A constant lingering of blood in the mouth. It would have driven me crazy had I cared. I didn’t care. I stopped caring sometime ago. Can’t blame me. I’m still alive. I’m one of the lucky ones. S

Holy Guacamole! My very first DD! I'm stunned. Thank you all so much especially ~LadyFromEast for suggesting it and ^Atramina for featuring it!

I actually started working on this piece back in August. I've been struggling a lot artistically which is why it took me almost six months to finish this.
